New ‘Star Wars’ Movies Will Arrive Every Summer After ‘Episode VII’
Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm made a special announcement earlier today at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, revealing that they will be releasing a new Star Wars film EVERY summer after the initial release of Star Wars: Episode VII.

Disney Shuts Down LucasArts, ‘Star Wars 1313’ Canceled
Disney has reportedly laid off the staff of the popular game studio LucasArts, best known for adapting games based on the Star Wars related LucasFilm franchises. The move includes the layoff of close to 150 employees and the cancellation of several prominent projects currently in development.
