Could This Be the First Poster For ‘The Wolverine’?
Could this be the first poster from James Mangold’s upcoming The Wolverine? The following photo was apparently leaked through an Instagram taken out of James Mangolds’ office and a special thanks goes out to the folks over at Screen Rant who straightened out the image for better clarity. We have to say, if this is actually the first official poster they’ve got planned, it looks incredible.
Check out this amazing looking 1930′s noir style poster for Christpher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, created by deviantART user smalltownhero (Shaun Watson). The poster even features a modified 1936 Mercedes-Benz 540K as the Dark Knight’s vehicle of choice.
The following ingenious promotional video was created by the Virtual Republic production studio for the Zurich Chamber Orchestra and stems from an incredibly unique idea. The animated video visually transforms the musical notes played by the first violinist in a symphony composed by Ferdinand Ries into an exhilarating, virtual rollercoaster ride as represented by the sheet music.
Visualization of the 1st violin of the 2nd symphony, 4th movement by Ferdinand Ries in the shape of a rollercoaster. The camera starts by showing a close-up of the score, then focuses on the notes of the first violin turning the staves into the winding rail tracks of the rollercoaster. The notes and bars were exactly synchronised with the progression in the animation so that the typical movements of a rollercoaster ride match the dramatic composition of the music.

DC Comics has officially unveiled a series of new logos that they will be using across all imprints and brands including Vertigo and Mad Magazine as well as their single issue titles.
Are you DC Comics fans ready to get riled up? Thanks to the folks over at Bleeding Cool, we’ve now gotten our first look at the the supposed new logo for DC Comics that has recently been submitted for trademark protection.
The new design is set to replace the current version of DC’s logo, which was created by Josh Beatman of Brainchild Studio and has graced the covers of DC books for several years now. While there was an outpouring of disappointment when Beatman’s logo was first revealed back in 2005, there’s no denying that this supposed new logo is awfully bland.
Even with the clever peel-reveal effect, there’s still a lot left to be desired
